Your data, explained plainly.

The shopping assistant keeps the recent conversation and choices in your open tab until you clear them or leave. When AI replies are enabled, your messages, recent conversation and relevant catalogue or policy information are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Please do not enter payment details, passwords or other personal information.

We do not store chat transcripts in an application conversation database or send raw messages or dietary choices to marketing analytics. AI requests use the provider's non-stored response setting. This does not mean the provider keeps no logs: OpenAI may retain API content for abuse monitoring under its applicable data controls. Aggregate API usage and cost counters contain no conversation text. Clear conversation removes this tab's conversation and choices.

Depending on how you use the site, this can include:

• Identity and contact details, such as your name, email, telephone number and billing or delivery address.
• Order information, including products, delivery choices, order history, returns and support conversations.
• Payment information handled by our payment providers. We do not receive your full card number.
• Device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, pages visited, interactions and cookie identifiers. With analytics consent, we measure how pages are used. Session replay is disabled.
• Marketing preferences, including whether you have asked to hear from us.

We use personal information to:

• take payment, fulfil orders and arrange delivery;
• provide customer support and handle returns;
• keep the store secure and prevent fraud or misuse;
• meet legal, tax and accounting obligations;
• improve the store and understand overall performance; and
• send marketing where you have asked for it or where the law otherwise permits, with an option to unsubscribe.

Our legal bases can include performance of a contract, compliance with law, legitimate interests and consent, depending on the activity.

We share only what is reasonably needed with providers that help us operate. These include Shopify (store, basket, checkout and customer privacy choices), our payment and delivery providers, hosting and support services, Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Web Analytics (site measurement), and PostHog (product analytics; session replay is disabled). If advertising measurement is configured and you consent, this can also include Google Ads, Meta and TikTok.

We may also disclose information where required by law or as part of a business sale or reorganisation. We do not sell your personal information.

Essential cookies keep core features such as the basket and checkout working and remember your privacy choice. Google Analytics 4, PostHog and Vercel Web Analytics remain disabled unless analytics processing is permitted. Marketing storage and advertising signals remain disabled unless you choose Marketing.

Where consent is required, optional cookies should not be used until you make a choice. You can change that choice at any time through the permanent Cookie settings link in the footer. See our dedicated Cookie Policy for provider, purpose and duration details.

We configure Google Analytics 4 user-level and event-level data to be retained for 14 months. We retain PostHog analytics events for 12 months. Session replay is disabled. Consent records may be retained for up to 12 months so that we can respect and demonstrate your choice. Order and transaction records can be kept longer where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or accounting purposes.

Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we expect appropriate contractual or legal safeguards to be used.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your information; object to some processing; receive certain information in a portable format; and withdraw consent.
